NRCT’s Inventor’s day

BANGKOK, 23 June 2014 -The National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) will exhibit internationally acclaimed inventions on Inventor’s Day, this week. The 2014 Inventors’ Day event will be held from June 23rd to June 26th, 2014 at the IMPACT Forum Conference Hall, Nonthaburi, Thailand. 

The Inventor’s Day event is held to celebrate the achievement of His Majesty King Bhumipol Adulyadej in inventing “the Slow Speed Surface Aerator” or “Chaipatana Surface Aerator” which was a winner of an award for inventions that bring benefit to the country

The exhibition is an inventor’s showcase that can help in the search for partners or investors. It also serves as a forum for related organizations, inventors and researchers to present their creative inventions and innovations in various fields, namely: technology for industry; disaster prevention and solutions; medicine and health; agriculture and food; education and learning; environment conservation and alternative energy; creation and design,etc.

There are inventions from eight countries on exhibition at the event, including internationally awarded Thai inventions such as the DIY Spacer for asthma patients and the Robot to help impulsing autistic children.

Apart from being a showcase, the event features the power generator invention competition which will allow all inventors to show their potential as Thai inventors.

The exhibition is also intended to inspire a new generation of inventors. With this in mind, a young generation invention showcase will also be displayed at the event.
