BANGKOK, Thailand – Jiraporn Sindhuprai, Minister Attached to the Office of the Prime Minister and Chair of the Public Relations Committee for the Royal Ceremonies, has invited the public to view the live broadcast of the Royal Barge Procession on Sunday, 27 October, beginning at 3:00 p.m. The procession celebrates His Majesty the King’s auspicious 72nd birthday anniversary, held earlier this year on 28 July.

This year marks a significant milestone, with citizens, the private sector, and the government organizing events throughout the year to honor His Majesty. As part of these celebrations, His Majesty has graciously approved the Royal Kathin Ceremony to be held at Wat Arun. The procession will start at Wasukri Pier, passing landmarks such as the Rama VIII Bridge and the Phra Pinklao Bridge, covering a 4.2-kilometer route on the Chao Phraya River, before reaching Wat Arun.
