NAN, Aug 20 — Forest runoff late Tuesday night in the northern province of Nan has flooded more than 300 households and has left one man missing, carried away in the strong current.
The authorities were searching for a 60-year-old man reportedly missing after the flood struck several villages Tuesday night.
Civil personnel and soldiers on continued searching for the missing man who was washed away with his home in Thung Chang subdistrict.
The flash flood has affected eight villages in three subdistricts where more than 300 households have been damaged from mud and water.
