Thai athlete Panipak “Tennis” Wongpattanakit has triumphed at the World Taekwondo Grand Prix 2023, adding another gold medal to her impressive collection. The competition held in Manchester, England, saw the Thai Taekwondo star emerge victorious in the 49kg category, defeating Spain’s Adelina Serrano Iglesias with a score of 2-0 (5-2, 5-2) in the final round.
This latest achievement increases Panipak’s total gold medals at World Taekwondo Grand Prix events to 12, marking the highest number for any female athlete. The 26-year-old Thai champion’s medal haul includes prestigious accolades from the 2020 Olympics and the 2022 Asian Games.
