SA KAEO, Thailand – A heartbreaking incident has been reported in Aranyaprathet District, Sa Kaeo Province, where a 7-year-old autistic boy tragically died after being left inside a car by his parents. The parents had reportedly forgotten about their child while they were busy drinking alcohol with friends.

The incident was brought to light by the Facebook page “Jay Moi v+,” which shared images and details of the tragedy. According to the post, the parents of the boy, referred to as “Nong Mon,” had left their home in the morning, taking their son with them in their pickup truck. Upon returning to their house in Ban Dan Sub-district at around 10:00 AM, they quickly joined neighbors for a drinking session, forgetting that their son was still in the car.

It wasn’t until nearly 3:00 PM that they realized their son was missing. Rushing to the car, they found their child unconscious in the back seat. The boy showed signs of severe distress, with his body pale, hands clenched, and signs of defecation on his clothing, indicating he had suffered from a lack of oxygen. Tragically, he was already deceased by the time his parents found him.

This devastating event serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of leaving children unattended in vehicles, especially in Thailand’s hot climate.
