Jomtien police were called to Banglamung hospital to interview two men, one had been shot in the arm and the other had a nasty wound on his head.

The men stated that they were having a drink with 5 other colleagues were when they got word that their friends were having a dispute with someone at the 69 Bungalow in Soi Thepprasit near Jomtien.

The Police went to the bungalow and found a bullet hole in one of the doors.

The owner of the residence, 60, stated that at about 5 am a group of men brought some women and opened up a house as a place to party.

He said they were being very rowdy and that motorbikes were coming and going all the time, so he asked them to keep the noise down.

They would not listen to him so he asked them to leave and not to return, which they eventually did.

However a few hours later 5-6 hot blooded men returned with guns and knives, the bungalow owner thought one of the men was going to attack him so he took out his own gun and let off a few shots to defend himself.

Many witnesses saw the incident and believed the old man’s intention was merely to safeguard his life as the young men were obviously out of control and became very violent. Police questioned both parties and kept bullet shells and photographs as evidence to deal with the case according to the law.
