People donate blood in honor of HM King Rama IX

Bangkok – People in Bangkok are donating blood at the Thai Red Cross National Blood Centre in dedication to His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The center on Henri Dunant Road saw people lining up at 5:00am on Friday, one year since the King’s death, to donate blood in honor of His Late Majesty. All donors will receive a commemorative coin marking the 50th anniversary of the reign of King Rama IX.

The blood drive will take place until October 26. Those who are interested in donating blood can do so from 7:30am to 7:30pm on weekdays and from 8:30am to 3:30pm on weekends and holidays.
