PHETCHABURI – Phetchaburi province aims to develop itself as a Green City to attract tourists by promoting organic produce and reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
Phetchaburi Governor Sanit Khaosa-ard said the province would be developed as a source of safe and organic vegetables, fruits and other food. The province would also try to be an environmentally-friendly city and a model area for a good way of life with awareness, said the governor. He called on all sides to work together in transforming the province into the Green City where tourists were drawn to.
Mr.Sanit Khaosa-ard expected that the project would help tourism and increase the local people’s income from agriculture and tourism.
