PHICHIT, 3 June 2014 – The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security has participated in a launched a campaign to prevent violence against children, women, and family members.
Phichit Provincial governor Surachai Khan Asa has presided over the opening ceremony of the campaign to prevent violence against children, women and family members. The governor has also led a march on behalf of the campaign to let the public and passersby become conscious in preventing such violence.
A conference has also been held after the march where Mr. Surachai attended as a conference speaker. The purpose of the conference is to educate local organizations, women networking groups, and community leaders to be aware of reducing violence against children, women, and family members in the society.
