BANGKOK – The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports are collaborating to bring a single online platform for tourism information.
ICT Minister Uttama Savanayana and Tourism and Sports Minister Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul have attended a meeting with other relevant agencies to find ways to promote Thai tourism.

Both ministries agreed that all tourism information, such as hotels and recreational activities, should be provided in one place. It will first be pioneered for Phuket and then expanded to include another 19 provinces within the year.
The online platform will allow tourists to find the necessary information for planning their trip. The Ministry of ICT will also study the possibility of expanding internet broadband coverage to provide free Wi-Fi service, making the single online platform more accessible.
