Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Srettha Thavisin announced the motto for 2024 Children’s Day, which falls on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
“Have broader perspective. Think constructively. Respect differences. Join forces in building democracy”
According to the Government Spokesperson Chai Wacharonke, the Prime Minister posted on his X to commend the Thai children for having potentials and being forward thinking, and added that the Government has a duty to support their quality growth, and encourage their pride and integrity.
The Prime Minister wanted the Thai children to enjoy their youth lives, while being opened and gaining broader perspectives. He wanted them to balance between Thai and international identities, being a global citizen who respects differences and diversity in order for them to collectively build strong democratic society.
