BANGKOK, Oct 29 – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will officially visit Cambodia tomorrow and Friday to boost bilateral relations.
Apart from promoting relations, the visit aims to move forward important cooperation projects that stalled earlier.
During the visit, Gen Prayut will meet King Norodom Sihamoni and Prime Minister Hun Sen.
They will discuss ASEAN transport networking and joint energy source development.
In Cambodia Gen Prayut will also exchange views with the Thai business community, introduce his policies to Thai officials deployed there and visit the AEC Business Support Centre.
The prime minister will also witness the signing of memorandums of understanding on suppressing the trafficking of women and children, assistance for victims of human trafficking, railway connections and tourism cooperation.
Cambodia is the second destination of Gen Prayut’s official visits in his capacity as prime minister. He went to Myanmar on Oct 9 and 10.
