BANGKOK, 15 October 2013  Prime Minister Yingkuck Shinawatra has expressed concerns that the ongoing anti-government might escalate and called on the protesters to talk with the government.

Ms Yingluck said whether the Internal Security Act would be lifted depended on the Center for Administration of Peace and Order. Authorities were trying to negotiate with the protesters, asking them to avoid obstructing road traffic. The premier admitted that she was worried about the protests as they comprised many groups.

A protest coordinator said the protesters would remain at the Uruphong intersection. They would this week submit a letter to the Attorney-General regarding the former Attorney-General’s decision to drop terrorism charges against former PM Thaksin Shinawatra.
