
BANGKOK, Thailand – Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra attended the “SF My Water World Songkran Festival 2025” at Maya Square in Chiang Mai on April 13, joining large crowds of residents and tourists in one of the city’s liveliest Thai New Year events. The festival is among the highlights of Chiang Mai’s Songkran celebrations, drawing a strong public turnout amid festive holiday spirits.
Held at Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center, the event brought color and energy to the city’s Songkran calendar. The prime minister presided over the opening ceremony and spent time engaging with attendees, joining in the lively atmosphere. The premier’s appearance was part of her two-day visit to Chiang Mai, where she is also scheduled to participate in traditional ceremonies and community-based activities.
“SF My Water World 2025” features live music, stage performances, and water-play zones.
