PM Office Minister hosts meeting on gov’t achievements promoting

BANGKOK, 27 February 2015 – The Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office hosted a meeting today on the guidelines to publicizing the government’s achievements. 

The Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office Panadda Diskul, presided over the meeting today on the guidelines to the promotion of the government’s achievements, which was attended by spokespersons from all ministries and public relations officials from the government agencies.

Previously he said that the meeting would serve as a briefing to the government’s spokespersons from all ministries on the guidelines to practical promotional approaches that would benefit the public. The disclosure of the government’s achievements should be thorough and informative to the public, in order to provide sufficient information for accurate public feedback to the government.

The Minister also mentioned that the Public Relations Department’s role was significant in following and evaluating the public relations functions of the government agencies. He also said that there has been good outcomes from many agencies, while others still have not achieved that goal.

Public relations of all agencies is believed to be improved after the conclusion of this meeting, said the Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office.
