BANGKOK, 10 July 2015 – Prime Minister Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha says revision of the recent controversial petroleum legislation rests with the judgement of the National Legislative Assembly (NLA)
In response to the civic network for Thailand’s energy reform’s recent criticism against two pieces of petroleum legislation approved by the Cabinet, Prime Minister Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha said the petroleum laws must be designed to attract foreign investors and provide fair compensation to stakeholders. He also said it was the duty of the NLA to make adjustments to the law.
