BANGKOK, 22 Oct 2013 Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has decided to postpone her trip to Ethiopia in the wake of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) deciding to rule on the Phrear Vihear temple dispute between Thailand and Cambodia on November 11.

Ms. Yingluck on Monday called a meeting with relevant agencies to prepare them to handle any scenarios that might follow the ICJ’s ruling on the Phrear Vihear case. The prime minister had been slated to visit Ethiopia during November 12-15.

Foreign Minister Suraphong Towichakchaikul said after the meeting that the Foreign Affairs Ministry had prepared for all possible verdicts by the World Court, and was also looking to collaborate with Cambodia in minimizing any effects the ruling might have on the two countries’ relations.

Modern Nine Television and NBT Channel will provide live coverage of the ICJ’s ruling, on November 11 at 4 pm Thailand time
