PM ready to reveal its first-year performance

BANGKOK, 23 September 2013 The Prime Minister is set to deliver the government’s first-year performance address to Parliament. 

According to Government spokesman Teerat Ratanasevi, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra will, after the cabinet meeting on September 24, lead her cabinet members to the Parliament to deliver her administration’s first-year performance address. He said the performance report had been submitted since May 23, 2012.

The spokesman has affirmed that all the ministers are ready to inform the parliament what they accomplished during the administration’s first year in office, adding that the newly-appointed ministers are also ready and have been provided with the information they need.

The government’s first-year performance, according to Mr. Teerat, will mainly highlight on the 15,000 baht monthly salaries for college graduates and the rice price increase policy. The announcement will be broadcast live on the parliament’s television station.
