Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has made a visit to the future location of the International Horticultural Expo 2029, situated in Thephalai subdistrict, Nakhon Ratchasima province. The visit involved interaction with residents and an overview of the current developments and planning stages for the upcoming event.
During his time there, Srettha engaged in discussions regarding the Expo’s potential to enhance tourism and its anticipated beneficial outcomes with regional leaders. He emphasized the necessity of strategic planning and budget management to guarantee the event’s success and relevance.
Set to take place from November 10, 2029, to February 28, 2030, and known as Korat Expo 2029, the event is themed around “Nature & Greenery: Envisioning the Green Future.” This major gathering puts a spotlight on Thailand’s exquisite natural environments and its achievements in sustainable agriculture and horticulture.
The upcoming International Horticultural Expo 2029 also seeks to transform Nakhon Ratchasima into a hub of innovation and ecological sustainability within the horticultural industry, setting a benchmark for green innovation in urban settings. (NNT)
