BANGKOK, 28 July 2012 – The Prime Minister has urged health officials to make sure that the spread of the Hand-Foot-and-Mouth disease is under control in a timely manner.
Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said that she has instructed all related health officers and agencies to make sure that any finding of the Hand-Foot-and-Mouth disease must be dealt with immediately and contained to prevent any spread.
The PM said that all involved were also urged to provide treatment to the patients with severe infection and to check on their residences and family members.
She assured that the government will never conceal any information about the outbreak while asking the public to provide all medical data to officials to help tackle the disease spread.
