PM’s Office to hold a musical event to commemorate HM the King’s birthday

BANGKOK, 21 Nov 2014, The Prime Minister’s Office is preparing to hold a musical event to commemorate His Majesty the King on the occasion of his 87th birthday anniversary, December 5th, and Her Majesty the Queen’s 82nd birthday anniversary, which falls on August 12th. 

According to M.L. Panadda Disakul, Prime Minister’s Office Minister, ‘the 2nd Wanasin Concert’ will play all-time popular songs composed by HM the King, in order to express the loyalty of the Thai people to the monarchy, while acknowledging the King’s literary talent in composing music.

Among songs to be included in the event are ‘Falling Rain’, ‘H.M. Blues’, ‘Love at Sundown’, and ‘The highest dream’ which was particularly inspired by Her Majesty the Queen’s speech that symbolically compared her loyalty to His Majesty like that of water to the land.

The concert is scheduled to be held at Nakarapirom Garden on December 10th, at 6 pm. Those who are interested in the event can call for free tickets at 02-225 8757-8 ,and 02-623 8148-9.
