At midnight on the 23rd of August a police checkpoint was set up on Prathamnak road Soi 1 to search for illegal items such as drugs and weapons, and as a result 8 people were arrested.
5 men and 1 woman had traces of drug abuse in their urine and 2 other people were found to be carrying methamphetamine tablets.
These two admitted to buying the drugs for a dealer in Soi Jurarat and that the drugs were for their personal use to enjoy at a birthday party.
All were transferred to police station for further investigation in an effort to find the dealers.
