SURAT THANI, 22 April 2015 – Police are preparing to seek arrest warrants for six more suspects involved in the April 10 bombings at Central Festival superstore in Surat Thani province.

The Royal Thai Police disclosed the arrest warrants should be issued within a few days, adding that some of the suspects reportedly have links with previous security cases. Police, however, declined to give further detail. Investigative officials so far have questioned over 30 people.

The military recently detained Abdulroning Dueramae, owner of a used car tent for alleged involvement in the explosion. Initial findings indicated that he arranged for three vehicles to escort the car used for the bombing to the superstore’s car park.

Mr. Abdulroning admitted to having sold three cars more than 10 days before the explosion occurred. He, however, denied any knowledge of those having bought his cars.
