PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN, 2 July 2015 – Prachuap Khiri Khan Province will be leading OTOP entrepreneurs to a business matching conference in Myanmar’s OTOP Fair in Myeik.
The Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Community Development Official Precha Kittisattayakul has revealed that the province will bring a delegate of OTOP entrepreneurs in the province to participate in the second OTOP Fair of Two Lands trade fair, set to take place in Myeik, Myanmar from 31 July to 5 August 2015 at the Myeik Shopping Center.
Famous OTOP products from Prachuap Khiri Khan will be introduced to the Myanmar market in this event, as they have already received positive feedback from the last year’s introduction to the fair. The event will also host the signage of agreements between Thai and Myanmar manufacturers as well as the business matching negotiations in order to expand both nations’ trade cooperation.
The Community Development Official has further stated that this event will also mark the opening of the OTOP Center store in Myeik Shopping Center, which is the sales outlet for OTOP products to Myanmar customers. The center will allowing entrepreneurs to extend their export channels and learn the consuming behaviour of Myanmar customers in order to adapt their products accordingly to the market’s demand.
