Bangkok – The Government Public Relations Department (PRD) will organize a folk song singing contest from November 1st to 3rd, 2017, to celebrate the annual Loy Krathong festival and preserve Thai folk songs.
The contest will be divided into two categories: children aged between eight and 14 years old and people who are 15 years old or over. The winners will each receive a trophy and 10,000 baht in cash.
Interested individuals can apply up to October 31st by downloading an application form from www.prd.go.th or http://thainews.prd.go.th, and submit it along with other documents to the PRD building, 2nd floor, IOC room, Soi Arisamphan, Rama VI road, Phayathai district, Bangkok, during office hours. Qualification rounds will be held on November 1st and 2nd at 10.00 a.m. and the final round will be held on November 3rd at 12:30 p.m.
