On 10 – 11 October 2023, in Brunei Darussalam, Mrs. Wanida Gajaseni, Senior Specialist on Foreign Affairs, the Government Public Relations Department and information officers from Foreign Office, attended the 58th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee on Culture and Information (58th ASEAN COCI) which consisted of ASEAN COCI-SCI Meeting and ASEAN COCI-SCC Meeting.
On the 10 October 2023, PRD Thailand, as a responsible agency for information sector, joined the ASEAN COCI-SCI Meeting, reported and updated on ongoing and completed projects, as well as endorsing new projects for implementation in 2024
PRD Thailand proposed a project proposal on “A Journey of ASEAN Favour” that invites ASEAN Media practitioners and AMS focal points to experience 3Ts activities: Taste, Tour and Talk which help promote ASEAN cuisine, strengthen ASEAN Media network and raise awareness on food security in ASEAN region.
The opening ceremony of the 58th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee on Culture and Information (58th ASEAN COCI) will be officially arranged in the following day , 11 October, 2023. The new projects in both information sector (ASEAN COCI-SCI ) and culture sector (ASEAN COCI-SCC) would be adopted by all committees in COCI meeting. (NNT)
