Prime Minister’s Office holds monthly almsgiving ceremony

BANGKOK, 27 November 2015  – The Office of the Prime Minister held its monthly almsgiving ceremony as part of its effort to preserve Thai culture while promoting OTOP products from various provinces. 

PM’s Office Permanent Secretary Pol Gen Aek Angsananont offered rice to 99 Buddhist monks as part of the office’s tradition of holding an almsgiving ceremony every last Friday of the Month.

OTOP products featured at the ceremony included traditional Thai garments from Huai Rat District in Buri Ram Province, sink stone mortars from Chonburi Province, traditional and modern desserts from Ratchaburi Province and gourami fish chilly paste from Samut Prakan Province.
