BANGKOK – The Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has given more than 400,000 baht in donations to help flood victims in Myanmar.
PMO Minister Panadda Diskul personally gave the donations to the Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Win Maung in a special ceremony.
Thais donated a total of 430,613 baht to help the flood affected public in Myanmar. The donation reflects the spirit of Thai people towards their neighbour, while the Myanmar Ambassador thanked the Thai public on the long lasting unity and love among both countries.
The PMO Minister added that the prime minister has previously given the royally bestowed donations from Their Majesties the King and Queen through the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation at an amount of 5 million baht to help the flood victims in Myanmar.
