SUPHANBURI, 11 July 2014 – Mr. Phallop Limsakul, the Senior Officer of Community Relations, said PTT Exploration and Production Plc (PTTEP) and Aquatic Resources Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University, are preparing to deliver a marine environmental study room or marine library to Suan Taeng Witthaya School in Suphanburi. The presentation is on July 16th, 2014, to offer youth the opportunity to learn about marine life by themselves.
The marine environmental study room or marine library is one of the 2014 activities under the Opening the World of Marine Heritage of Thailand Project under the Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn which has been supported by PTTEP since 2010. The project aims to provide an opportunity for teachers and youths to closely experience nature. Suan Taeng Witthaya School, Suan Taeng Subdistrict, Muang District, Suphanburi, is one of the 15 schools in the network of the Opening the World of Marine Heritage of Thailand Project. A marine environmental study room or marine library will later be delivered to schools within the network in all regions of Thailand.
