BANGKOK, 3 April 2015 – Railway Police Division is ready to provide security protection and services to the public during the Songkran holidays with stricter incident prevention measures in risk areas, says Deputy-Commander.
The Deputy-Commander of Railway Police Division Pol Col Ratchatham Jitthamma has disclosed new security measures and assistance to the public and railway passengers, planned for the 2015 Songkran holidays.
He has said that more railway police officers will be dispatched to stations and on trains, to monitor the situation, suppress unlawful activities, and provide security protection to the public.
The frequency of security patrols at risk areas will also be increased, while more officers will be available on board all scheduled and additional train services.
