BANGKOK, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is delighted to announce that Thailand and 14 Thai tourism entities have performed exceptionally well in Condé Nast Traveler’s 37th annual Readers’ Choice Awards, earning altogether 15 titles.
On the global level, Thailand was placed 6th on the list of the ‘Top 20 Countries in the World’, while Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary & Holistic Spa (on Ko Samui) was ranked 14th spot on the list of ‘Top Spas’ and The Sukhothai Bangkok was placed 24th on the list of the ‘Top Hotels – World’.
On the regional level, on the list of the ‘Top Islands – Asia’, Ko Samui secured the top spot and Phuket 7th place.
Within Bangkok, the list of the 10 Top Hotels is:

No. 2 – The Siam Hotel Bangkok
No. 3 – The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok
No. 4 – The St. Regis Bangkok
No. 5 – COMO Metropolitan Bangkok
No. 6 – Mandarin Oriental Bangkok
No. 7 – Rosewood Bangkok
No. 8 – Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok
No. 9 – Shangri-La Bangkok
No. 10 – The Peninsula Bangkok
