ROI ET, 29 July 2012 – Citizens of Roi Et province said they were pleased that the Prime Minister was coming to present farmer credit cards although many did not know much about the card project initiated by the government.
A survey was undertaken in the province of Roi Et to elicit citizens’ opinions regarding Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra traveling to hand out farm credit cards in the province.
It was discovered that the majority of citizens polled had not been made aware of the prime minister’s visit. Mr. Saithong Sinyamuang, a citizen of Roi Et, expressed his happiness in regard to Prime Minister Yingluck traveling to the province. He also said that he was uncertain if the farm credit project could truly help farmers, but his initial thought was that it was a positive course of action for farmers in general.
