BANGKOK, July 2015, The Royal Thai Air Force is holding a merit making ceremony, celebrating this year’s Mother’ Day, which falls on August 12th, 2015.
Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force Air Chief Marshal Treetod Sonjance chaired the event at the Air Force’s command center in Don Mueang District, Bangkok.
The event provides a chance for troops, employees, civil servants at the Air Force to express their loyalty and to give well wishes to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. Organizers said the ceremony would also instill moral values into participants in accordance with the teaching of the lord Buddha.
The campaign will be held every Thursday in various squadrons of the Air Force over the next 3 months.
