Royal Thai Navy conducting mobile medical service in honor of Prince of Chumporn

BANGKOK – The Royal Thai Navy has continued its mobile medical treatment activity, established in honor of Prince of Chumporn Admiral Abhakara Kiartivongse.

Commander of the Royal Thai Navy Adm Na Areenij and Dean of Medicine for Siriraj Hospital Dr Prasit Wattanapha traveled by boat to Suwanaramrajaworawiharn Temple in Bangkok Noi district of Bangkok to inspect the “In the Footsteps of Dr Porn Mobile Medicine” activity.

The mobile treatment is being conducted by Somdej Phra Pinklao Hospital, the Naval Medical Department and Siriraj Hospital and is in honor of Prince of Chumporn Admiral Abhakara Kiartivongse who hand wrote one of the nation’s first traditional medical guides and provided care to citizens at no cost.

The activity includes checkups and free medical advice for the public. The service will travel to Phawanapirataram Temple tomorrow.
