NAKORN SRI THAMMARAT – Nakorn Sri Thammarat Provincial Office of Agriculture and Cooperatives chief Chalin Praphreuttrong said rubber-tree cutting season gets started in May.
There might be drizzles of rain during the starting period of the rubber-tree cutting season, causing moisture in the rubber plantations. For that reason, he said, the rubber planters need to fertilize their rubber trees before cutting them.
Following the cutting of the rubber trees, the planters are advised to continue to fertilize them for high yields of latex.
