BANGKOK, Thailand – The Thai Meteorological Department reports that Bangkok and its surrounding areas will experience light fog in the morning with a 40% chance of thunderstorms. Temperatures in these areas will range between 25–27°C at the lowest and 31–34°C at the highest.

The forecast for the next 24 hours indicates scattered rainfall in the lower northeastern, eastern, and central regions, as well as in Bangkok and the upper southern regions. Meanwhile, the northern and upper northeastern regions will continue to have cool weather with morning fog and slightly rising temperatures.

Residents in upper Thailand are advised to take precautions due to changing weather conditions and exercise caution when traveling in foggy areas. Farmers should also prepare to mitigate potential damage to crops caused by rain. These weather patterns are attributed to easterly and southeasterly winds bringing moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.
