Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the world’s leading higher education network, has announced its report on the QS Asia University Ranking 2024. There were 856 universities from Asia included in this year’s ranking. Peking University, in China, has been ranked the best university in the region, followed by the University of Hong Kong and National University of Singapore.
As for Thailand, seven universities are rated among the top 200 universities in Asia, as follows:
– Chulalongkorn University, ranked 44th;
– Mahidol University, 51st;
– Chiang Mai University, 102nd;
– Krirk University, 130th;
– Thammasat University, 145th;
– Kasetsart University, 162nd;
– Khon Kaen University, 198th.
The rating considered a variety of indicators, such as academic reputation, employer reputation, international students’ ratio, international research network, and sustainability. (NNT)
