A dedicated team of 35 individuals from the Department of Orthopaedics, comprising surgeons and nurses, embarked on a journey to Lumbini, a city revered as a Buddhist pilgrimage site with the mission to offer knee replacement surgeries to those in need at Siddhartha Hospital.

Siriraj Hospital in collaboration with Love for Humanity, a nonprofit organization, extended a helping hand to the underprivileged community in Lumbini, Nepal. Through their joint effort known as ‘The Buddha’s First Step’ project, the hospital provided free joint replacement surgeries to 33 patients.
