NONTHABURI, 2 December 2015- The National Council on Social Welfare of Thailand (NCSWT) donated money and food to Wat Yai Sawang Arom in Nonthaburi province, celebrating the council’s 55th anniversary.
NCSWT President Maj Gen Khunying Asanee Saovapap represented the council at the donation ceremony, which was held at the temple in Pak Kret district of Nonthaburi.
The event was part of Their Majesties the King and Queen’s royal project to give assistance to underprivileged senior citizens and the disabled.
The event also provided optometry services, as well as a venue for vendors and OTOP producers to sell their goods.
