The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has announced a series of special train tours for tourists aboard the Kiha 183 train, involving 14 trips across nine unique routes. Bookings for these tours began on Monday (Apr 22), with trips scheduled to run on weekends from May to June. Each excursion offers an engaging blend of cultural experiences and natural attractions, ranging from one-day outings to overnight adventures.

In May, travelers can explore destinations like Saraburi, Chachoengsao, and Phetchaburi, with activities including cultural site visits, boat rides, and beach activities. Highlights include a tour to “Unseen Saraburi,” boat rides in Chachoengsao, and a visit to the sprawling Mrigadayavan Palace in Phetchaburi.

June’s tours feature trips to Lopburi, where participants will engage in environmental conservation efforts such as replanting trees. Overnight excursions will also take guests to Chachoengsao and Nakhon Nayok to experience rafting and visit significant natural sites. The month concludes with trips to Ayutthaya, offering cultural immersions with forest replanting and historical site visits.

Each trip includes train travel, air-conditioned buses for extended travel, entrance fees to various attractions, along with food, drinks, and accident insurance.

Interested individuals can secure their spots by visiting railway stations nationwide or by booking online through the SRT’s D-Ticket platform. With only 202 seats available per trip, early booking is advised to ensure participation in these unique travel experiences. (NNT)
