BANGKOK, 20 January 2013 The Democrat Party gubernatorial candidate carried on his campaigning, which includes a promise to make Bangkok a green and clean metropolis.
M.R. Sukhumbhand Paribatra, Bangkok Governor candidate from the Democrats, accompanied by party leader Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, election campaign key strategist Mr. Apirak Kosayothin and campaign chief Mr. Ong-art Klampaiboon met with Bangkok residents at Lumpini Park on Sunday.
M.R. Sukhumbhand promised capital voters to increase the so-called “lungs of Bangkok” with 5,000 rai of green area. He also assured the continued construction of 3 large public parks, which are now in process, while stating that more land will be sought for the construction of additional 7 others.
The Democrats contender is scheduled to travel to the Bangkok City Hall to register his candidacy on Monday, January 21, the first day of the gubernatorial candidate registration.
