BANGKOK, 4 August 2015 – Supreme Commander General Worapong Sanganetra has welcomed Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) First Admiral Pengiran Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad on the latter’s official visit to Thailand as a guest of the Royal Thai Navy.
General Worapong welcomed First Admiral Norazmi, who is being hosted by the Royal Thai Navy from August 2-4, at the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters in Bangkok. The visit was aimed at strengthening military ties to ensure future stability and sustainable development.
The Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters also held an event in commemoration of Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday anniversary on August 12. A total of 84 military personnel and their family members participated in the ordainment activity held under the theme of expressing gratitude toward one’s mother through ordainment.
