BANGKOK, 26 Dec 2013, -All government media have been instructed to stop publicity campaigns bearing Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra’s images or voices, in order to avoid violating the election law.
In his order, Prime Minister Secretary Suranand Vejjajiva ordered all ministries and departments to stop using any form of advertisement containing the PM’s images or videos or voice, or all of the above. The move was to ensure a fair election as stated in Section 181 of the constitution.
He also approved the cancellation of any promotional materials considered as such.
