TAGTHAi Easy Pay works with Kasikornbank’s Prepaid PAY&TOUR Card, allowing foreign travelers to make digital payments as seamlessly as local residents.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has partnered with Kasikornbank (KBank) to introduce TAGTHAi Easy Pay, an e-wallet designed for international tourists. The service allows visitors to make cashless transactions using Thai QR Payment, eliminating the need for currency exchange and offering a more seamless and secure payment experience. The launch is part of the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism & Sports Year 2025 campaign, aiming to boost tourism revenue to 3.5 trillion baht by the end of the year.



TAGTHAi Easy Pay works with Kasikornbank’s Prepaid PAY&TOUR Card, allowing foreign travelers to make digital payments as seamlessly as local residents. The system enhances convenience by reducing the need to carry large amounts of cash while aligning with global trends in digital travel solutions.

Thailand’s tourism sector has seen a surge in digital adoption, with the TAGTHAi mobile application surpassing 2 million downloads in 2024 and experiencing a 183% increase in sales. The new payment system benefits local businesses, particularly in secondary destinations, by encouraging cashless transactions and increasing financial accessibility.


Tourists can access the service by downloading the TAGTHAi application on iOS or Android, registering for a Prepaid PAY&TOUR card, and topping up funds without service fees. The platform is expected to greatly enhance the overall travel experience while ensuring seamless financial transactions across Thailand. (NNT)
