The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in collaboration with True Corporation, has launched the “True Nationwide, For Everyone” campaign aimed at enhancing the tourist experience in Thailand from pre-trip to post-trip. The initiative is part of an effort to solidify Thailand’s position as a leading tourism destination by 2024, with the goal of driving sustainable growth and generating over 3 trillion baht in revenue.

Digital technology, recognized as a critical component for the growth of Thailand’s tourism sector, supports the trend towards the “digital nomad” lifestyle, facilitating remote work from any location.

The campaign offers a variety of benefits and privileges for both Thai and international tourists, including complimentary services at nine airports, free accident insurance, discounts at leading cafes and restaurants, and exclusive privileges from partners nationwide. This also supports experiential tourism through activities such as the “365 Days of Coffee Lovers’ Journey,” promoting tourism in secondary cities through unique local coffee flavors.

The TAT said it is now working to expedite the recovery of the tourism sector by focusing on attracting high-spending tourists and developing supply chains to support high-quality tourism groups.

The merger is expected to enhance network quality and coverage, with significant advancements in 4G and 5G services, contributing to the overall goal of economic growth through increased tourist activity and income distribution to local communities. (NNT)
