TAT & Nakhon Phanom to promote lesser known attractions

NAKHON PHANOM, 6th April 2018  – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and relevant agencies in Nakhon Phanom province are preparing to hold an event to promote the lesser-known attractions of the northeastern province.

The event entitled “Thailand Fascination” is scheduled to take place between 27th and 29th of April at the Naga landmark in the capital district. Visitors will be introduced to a collection of tourist spots and multiple activities in Nakhon Phanom and will be able to shop for top-selected products offered by more than 120 outlets.

Thai visitors to Nakhon Phanom can use their receipts to claim tax deductions of up to 15,000 baht in accordance with the government’s policy to promote visits to 55 secondary cities.

Governor Somchai Witdamrong said today the charms of Nakhon Phanom lay in the fine weather, and numerous natural and cultural attractions such as Wat Phra That Phanom and the third Thai–Lao Friendship Bridge.
