The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is calling on the general public to purchase local products at Pracharat shops inside PTT oil stations during the Songkran holiday.
TAT Governor Yuthasak Supasorn has revealed the TAT is working with the Office of SMEs Promotion to retail local products from 16,000 communities in Thailand at Pracharat shops located inside 148 PTT oil stations across the country until 17 April 2017.
The products will also be retailed at offices and shopping malls in Bangkok, as well as at Khlong Phadung Krungkasem market next to the government house. The locations of Pracharat shops can be found via Google Maps search.
Director of the Bureau of Local Wisdom and Community Enterprise Promotion Supakorn Moonsuwan has revealed the campaign in previous year generated good circulation of income to local economies, inviting interested people to participate by purchasing products which will help the development of local communities.
