Nakhon Phanom, 27 Oct 2013 Temperature is dropping in Nakhon Phanom Province. Farmers have to adapt themselves to the cooler weather.
Farmers along the Mekong River in Nakhon Phanom are trying to adapt their crops and agricultural land to the low temperature as winter is approaching. The temperature, according to the Nakhon Phanom’s Meteorological Department, has recently dropped to 20 degree Celsius. The department has, therefore, issued a warning for the forthcoming winter, saying the temperature from this point on will gradually drop.
The province is also preparing winter clothes for the people who cannot afford them, while urging motorists to be careful when driving in early morning as thick fog is expected.
As for the flood situation in Thailand, more than 500,000 people in 16 provinces are still affected by the heavy inundation. 2 of those provinces, Chachoengsao and Prachin Buri, are still in crisis and government officials are expediting help for the victims.
