Temperatures drop again in Thailand today

BANGKOK, 2 February 2015 – The temperature has dropped a few more degrees today as the high pressure system is extending across the upper part of Thailand.

The lowest temperature recorded in low lying areas of the North varies between 13-20 degrees Celsius, with the mercury on the mountaintop reported to be around 6-10 degrees Celsius.

It is windy in the Northeast, where the mountaintop temperature dropped below 12 degrees Celsius this morning, and 16-18 degrees Celsius elsewhere in the region.

Meanwhile, colder temperatures with visible morning fog have been predicted for the Central and the East of the country for today and tomorrow, with the lowest temperature of 21 degree Celsius.

In the South of Thailand, scattered precipitation is forecast for today, with waves reaching 2 meter height in the gulf of Thailand, from Surat Thani province and below.
