BANGKOK, Thailand – The Thailand Creative Culture Agency (THACCA) has partnered with Melco Resorts & Entertainment to launch the THACCA x Melco Global Soft Power Academy internship program. The program offers Thai students and recent graduates the chance to gain hands-on experience in Soft Power industries by working with global leaders in culinary arts, design, architecture, performing arts, and brand strategy in Macau, Paris, London, Italy, and the United States.

The three-month fully funded internship covers travel, living expenses, and program costs and includes mentorship from globally recognized experts. Participants will work directly with renowned figures such as Alain Ducasse, a Michelin-starred chef; Mathieu Lehanneur, an acclaimed designer; Viviana Muscettola from Zaha Hadid Architects; Giuliano Peparini, an artistic director and choreographer; and Richard Christiansen, founder of Chandelier Creative. Each mentor will provide sector-specific expertise, allowing interns to gain insights from leaders at the forefront of their fields.

The program is open to Thai students in their final year of study or recent graduates in fields such as culinary arts, design, architecture, performing arts, marketing, or communication. Applicants must show dedication to personal development in their chosen sector, as well as proficiency in English or another relevant language. Participants will gain exposure to global standards in Soft Power industries while working in cultural hubs such as Macau, Paris, and New York City.

Applications are open until February 28, 2025, and must be submitted through the official website, http://thaccaxmelcoacademy.com. Applicants are required to provide a 60-second self-introduction video, a resume, a portfolio, a motivational letter, and relevant language certifications.

The selection process includes initial screenings, technical assessments, and final interviews, with results to be announced in June 2025 at the THACCA SPLASH: Soft Power Forum. Five candidates, one per sector, will be selected for the program, which is set to begin in early 2026. (NNT)
